Members of staff at Browns of Rivonia recently embarked on an entertaining and informative trip to the Cape Winelands. Between 14 and 16 May 2007, several waiters and management members from Browns toured a number of wine estates in the Constantia, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek regions. The action-packed itinerary included visits to Steenberg, Meerlust, Muldersbosch, Beyerskloof, Guardian Peak, Ernie Els, Ken Forrester, Meinert and Cabriére wine estates. The team lodged at the splendid Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons Estate. “We would personally like to thank all the owners, winemakers and dedicated staff at the various wine farms for their tremendous hospitality and for going out of their way to make this trip truly memorable for us at Browns” says Browns’ Marketing Manager, Lara Edwards.
